How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes M-Class?

To clear the Service light from the instrument panel of the Mercedes M-Class, you need to turn on the display by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot. Once the panel is on, repeatedly press the button in the centre of the panel until the remaining kilometres to the next service appear. Now, you can turn off the panel and keep the same button pressed. While holding it down, turn the panel back on and wait for the Service light to clear. After the reset, you can release the button and turn off the panel.
