A 1999 Mercedes E-Class W210 with Non-Functioning Air Conditioning

This 1999 Mercedes E-Class has an air conditioning issue. The climate control button (likely the "Eco" or A/C button) remained pressed (thus on) and did not respond to commands; as a result, the air conditioning did not work. A low refrigerant charge was identified, so the system was recharged, but the solution was not effective and the system did not start working again. A diagnostic scanner was then connected to the vehicle, and the stored error codes in the control unit, caused by the previous low gas pressure, were cleared. After clearing the codes, the button started functioning correctly, and the air conditioning system works properly.
