How to Reset the Service Light in a Mercedes-Benz C-Class

To reset the service light in a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, close all doors and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the controls on the steering wheel to display the "TRIP" screen or the total mileage. Press and hold the call answer button, and within one second, press and hold the "OK" button as well. After about 5 seconds, the service menu will appear. Select "ASSYST PLUS" and then turn the key to position 2, without starting the engine. Confirm "ASSYST PLUS", select "FULL SERVICE", and then "CONFIRM SERVICE". If prompted, select the type of oil used and confirm. When the service confirmation request appears, select "YES" and confirm again. Wait for the message indicating the service is complete, then exit the menu and turn off the ignition. Restart the vehicle and check that the new maintenance interval has been saved.
