To reset the service light on a Mercedes A-Class, insert the key and turn it to position 1 without starting the engine. Using the buttons on the steering wheel, display the total odometer on the instrument cluster.

Next, quickly press the trip odometer reset button three times to bring up the battery voltage screen. Then, access the maintenance menu using the steering wheel controls and select Service Menu, followed by Confirmation and Full Service.

Confirm the operation with the dedicated button and wait for the message indicating the reset is complete. Finally, turn off and turn on the ignition to verify the maintenance interval update.
