How to Replace the Battery in the Mercedes E-Class W211

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

If the dashboard lights appear dim and completely turn off during ignition, it means the starter battery is completely drained. In this Mercedes model, the battery is located in the rear, in the trunk, on the right side, beneath the load floor covering. Once you open the rear hood, lift and remove the load floor covering to access the spare tire and the battery located right next to it. Disconnect the terminals, the vent tube, the securing strap, and the side bracket. Then, remove the old battery and install the new one by reversing the steps.
