Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe S MK 4, W220 - Years 1999-2005
Part: Air filter

Open the hood and ensure it is securely supported. Then, detach the front part of the plastic cover protecting the engine, disconnect the two intake hoses connected to the back of the engine cover, and remove the cover: the engine air filters are located inside the two side elements. Unscrew the fastening screws of the covers of the two containers just mentioned and remove the old filter to replace it with the new one. Then, reposition the filter container, reconnect the two intake hoses, and the front part of the engine cover.
