In this tutorial, see how to replace the air filter in a Mercedes S 550 V8, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the engine is completely cool. Start by opening the hood, then remove both the upper cover and the plate containing the two filters by unlocking the clip located at the back. Once done, remove the 8 fastening screws from the boxes using a Torx T25 wrench, then open them and proceed with replacing the filters, making sure to position the replacements correctly. Reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
