Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe S MK 3, W140 - Years 1991-1998

The vehicle is equipped with two engine air filters, one for each bank, integrated within the plastic cover located at the top of the engine. To replace the filters, first remove the front portion of the cover, then detach the metal clips that secure the two sections (upper and lower) of the cover where the filters are located. Once the cover is open, remove the old filters, ensure there are no dirt residues in their respective seats, and insert the new ones before closing the cover with the metal clips.
