Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe S MK 3, W140 - Years 1991-1998
Part: Air filter

The engine air filter housing (AIRBOX) is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. First, remove the plastic cover on the side to access the closure hooks of the lid; then disengage the retaining clips of the lid, lift it, and remove the old filter. Ensure there are no dirt residues inside the filter box and remove them carefully to avoid entering the intake duct. Install the new filter, reposition the lid, and secure the closure tabs.
