Thermostat Replacement on Mercedes Vito

Is the thermostat on your Mercedes Vito damaged? Here’s how to remove and replace it. Unscrew the bolts on the thermostat housing cap (as shown in the video) using a socket wrench and the appropriate sockets, then detach all hoses from the clips. Extract the thermostat from its housing (disconnect the electrical connectors). Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, reconnect the various hoses, and tighten the fastening bolts securely. Ensure that the thermostat is correctly inserted and mounted in the appropriate housing, and top up with new coolant if necessary. Start the car and check its operation.
