Removing Instrument Cluster from Mercedes B-Class W245

If you need to remove the instrument cluster for any reason, such as replacing the central display, you will need special extraction keys: these are steel rods with a section of about three millimetres, with the end bent at 90°; you will notice that the instrument cluster is surrounded by a frame with small slots on both sides; insert the tip of the small rod into the slot and twist it to release the retaining tab; repeat the same operation on the other side and pull the instrument cluster away enough to disconnect the connectors.
