Replacing the Key/Remote Battery for the Mercedes-Benz B-Class

As usual, replacing the battery in the key/remote for the Mercedes-Benz B-Class (as with any car key) is a relatively simple task. Here’s how to proceed. Start by removing the actual metal key from its housing by pressing the small release and simultaneously pulling the key out. At this point, use a flathead screwdriver to unlock the mechanism holding the cover (the one without the manufacturer's emblem) of the key/remote in place to gain access to the battery. Replace it with a new one and reassemble everything. This procedure applies to the key/remote of all Mercedes vehicles.
