Steering Column Removal for Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the steering column from a Mercedes A-Class. First, get inside the vehicle and use a hex wrench to remove the side screw of the steering wheel. This will allow you to remove the airbag, where you will disconnect the electrical connectors located at the back to remove it completely. Next, unscrew the central nut to fully extract the steering wheel, along with the electrical wires. Then, remove the screws from the plastic cover and the screws from the steering column. Finally, take out the instrument cluster and remove the entire assembly!
