Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Mercedes E-Class. Begin by prying the instrument cluster out of its housing using a flathead screwdriver, applying leverage along the sides.

This will free the instrument cluster from the dashboard. Next, pull the instrument cluster out of its housing.

At this point, disconnect the electrical connectors that operate the instrument cluster. Once you complete this step, you can fully remove the instrument cluster, successfully finishing the disassembly.
