Want to remove the Mercedes instrument cluster? Let's see how to take the instrument panel off from above the dashboard. Insert metal clips into the holes in the instrument cluster cover (without breaking the plastic), then pull the piece until it disconnects from the dashboard. Disconnect the power connectors for the instrument cluster. After removing the instrument cluster from the dashboard, prepare to install a new piece or reinstall the same one (repair the instrument cluster if necessary). Reverse the steps to install the instrument cluster and the cover cap (secure the piece in the dashboard).
