Removing the Front Bumper on SLK

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 3, R172 - Years 2011-2016

Let’s see how to remove the bumper from a Mercedes SLK. Lift the front cover, locate the tightening screws at the top of the bumper. Once the screws at the top are removed, unscrew the rivets from the splash guards and finally remove the pins located at the bottom of the bumper (lift the car on a jack). Remove the bumper from the bodywork using your hands. Secure the bumper to the bodywork and proceed to tighten all screws around the splash guard and the perimeter. Connect any electrical connectors for the headlights.
