How to Remove the Cabin Fan from a Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

Before you can start, sit in the front passenger seat of your Mercedes E-Class. First, remove the screws securing the lower cover of the glove compartment, then disconnect the related electrical connector and remove the cover itself. Next, disconnect the cabin fan connector, then remove the lower fan cover by unscrewing the mounting screws. This will give you access to the cabin fan. Now, unscrew and remove the mounting screws. At this point, remove the fan itself, and you will have completed the disassembly.
