How to Remove the Knob on the Center Console of a Mercedes C

Let's see how to remove the knob located on the center console of a Mercedes C. Position the gear shift knob vertically, then remove the retaining screws. Use a plastic trim tool to pry off the trim piece of the center console. Next, use a screwdriver to remove the retaining screws of the part to be removed. Move the carpet aside from the center console to disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the entire electrical kit of the knob. Install the new knob kit on the center console as previously disassembled. Reinstall all the trim pieces of the center console.
