To replace the number plate bulb on a Mercedes B-Class, use a screwdriver to pry off the transparent plastic cover located directly above the number plate. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the bulb, which will be lodged between the two terminals.

After removing the old bulb, position the new one, ensuring it is secured correctly. Once the new bulb is inserted, seal it by refitting the transparent plastic cover.

This operation should be performed on both sides.
