How to Replace the Auxiliary Battery in the Mercedes B-Class?

To replace the auxiliary battery in the Mercedes B-Class, lift the carpet at the base of the footwell on the front passenger side, just below the glove compartment. Once the carpet is moved, you will locate the underlying battery: this must be removed from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the appropriate power cables. You can then insert the new auxiliary battery and cover everything with the carpet.
