How to Replace the Light Switch on a Mercedes C-Class?

To replace the light switch on a Mercedes C-Class, grasp the knob and pull it outward to remove the circular cover around it. Once the cover is removed, use a screwdriver to disengage the retaining clips around the mechanism. This can be completely removed after disconnecting the connector; at this point, the new switch can be connected to its connector and inserted into the designated housing. After the replacement, you can also insert the circular cover.
