In order to replace the light switch of the Mercedes C-Class you have to grab the knob and pull it outwards, so as to be able to remove the circular cover placed around it. Once the cover has been removed, you will need to use a screwdriver to release the fastening clips that are located around the mechanism. This can be completely removed after unplugging the connector; at this point the new switch can be connected to its connector and inserted inside the special housing. At the end of the replacement, it will also be possible to insert the circular cover.
