Replacing the Remote Key Fob Battery

Detailed instructions - These images show the steps to open the remote key fob of a Mercedes C-Class to replace its two dead batteries. Remove the emergency key (blade) by sliding the black lever that locks its release. Using the tip of the blade, press the button located at the top of the compartment from which you removed the blade, then push down vertically: pull out the part of the key containing the two button batteries and proceed with their replacement. Pay attention to their positioning: both must have the positive terminal facing up.
