This guide provides the main instructions for removing and replacing the glow plugs of the diesel engine on the Mercedes Vito W638. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the leads or connectors from the glow plugs, located on the top of the engine as well as on the cylinder head; then use a socket spanner with an extension to unscrew and remove the glow plugs, as shown in the video. Next, replace them with new ones of the correct type (with the same thread pitch and thermal rating), screwing them in by hand and then tightening with a spanner!
