Removing the Electronic Ignition Switch from a Mercedes Sprinter

Model: Mercedes Sprinter MK 2, W906 - Years 2006-2018

In this video tutorial, you will see the steps to remove the electronic ignition switch from a second-generation Mercedes Sprinter. First, get inside the vehicle and remove the retaining ring of the ignition switch by unscrewing it with two screwdrivers. Then, lever the central trim of the instrument panel and unscrew the screws located beneath the panel. At this point, remove the cover surrounding the ignition switch and disconnect the electrical connectors on the back.
