Removing the original car radio requires taking out other elements of the center console: start by prying off the air vents using a flathead screwdriver; also detach the leather boot of the gear shift and then the wood trim that acts as a frame. Next, pull out the ashtray to access the screws securing the center console and unscrew them; then remove the trim around the car radio that includes the climate control buttons by disconnecting the respective plugs.

At this point, unscrew the screws securing the car radio.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
