Resetting the Service Light

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

Reset the service light on the instrument cluster of the Mercedes E-Class W210 (from 1995 to 2002), commonly known as "four headlights", manually using the trip odometer reset button located on the lower left of the instrument cluster frame. Follow these steps: use the menu buttons to select the total mileage, then use the arrow buttons to select the service indicator. At this point, press and hold the button to reset the trip mileage until you hear a beep, then release it and hold it again for a few seconds until it resets. Of course, perform maintenance before resetting.
