In this video, you can see how to remove and replace the battery of a Mercedes remote key: first, extract the emergency key. Then, using the same emergency key, unclip and unlock the latch located on the side of the emergency key housing. This will open the back cover of the remote, giving you access to the battery compartment. Next, take the new battery (model CR 2025) and position it with the positive terminal facing upwards. Finally, reattach the cover and reinsert the emergency key.
