In this tutorial, you will see how to remove and replace the handle sensor of the Mercedes E-Class, an operation to perform if the lock of that specific door shows signs of malfunction. First, move the inner seal near the lock in question, then remove the bolt located inside the newly exposed hole with a T20 Torx wrench.

Once done, grasp the lock cylinder, pull it out from the handle, and disconnect it from the connector. To remove the sensor, you will need to cut the supports it is attached to, then secure the replacement with a plastic tie.
