Fixing the Windshield Trim

Model: Mercedes Classe C - Years 1983-1993

The trim that covers the windshield and roof pillar is secured with pressure clips: there are metal clips underneath the trim that fit into specific plastic inserts along the entire length of the windshield and roof pillar. You must align the clips correctly with the inserts to ensure a proper fit. If any of the plastic inserts are damaged, you can apply silicone while holding the trim in place with masking tape as it dries and sets.
