Operation: How to reset the service light on Mercedes C220 CDI

In this video tutorial you can see how you can reset the service warning light on a Mercedes C220 CDI by following a few simple steps that will guide you towards proper management of your vehicle, being able to work independently. To work independently, you must close all the doors, the trunk and the bonnet; turning the key to position 1, turn on the instrument panel; now press button A until the distance traveled appears on the display; now you have to press button A to scroll the list up to TRIP; within 5 seconds press and hold button B; within 1 second press and hold down button E. Now you must hold down both buttons for at least 5 seconds or until the Vehicle data, Assyst Plus menu appears. Press button D until Assyst Plus is selected, confirming by pressing button E Select Full Service, in the menu by pressing the key and confirm. The display will list the services to run.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
