In order to remove the leather upholstery of the seat, it is suggested to remove the seat from the passenger compartment; however, it is also possible to unhook the seat only and then remove the upholstery. The leather covering of the seat is a kind of cap that is fixed to the seat frame through the edges that have a plastic reinforcement that is folded back on itself and wedged in a special groove on the seat frame; once the edge reinforcements have been released, it is possible to remove the upholstery and the padding and then cut the plastic straps that secure the seams to the padding itself.

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to remove and replace the gear knob on the second series Lancia Ypsilon, but also on the Lancia Musa, in simple and quick steps. We get inside the car and start by removing the old gear knob; to do this, just unscrew it anticlockwise, as shown in the video.
