Headlight Restoration Instructions

Due to the effects of time, sunlight, and car wash additives, headlights tend to become cloudy: you can restore their brightness by performing some simple sanding and polishing steps. There are specific kits available that include everything needed for this restoration, although the most durable solution is to sand and repaint the headlight with a specific clear coat that not only restores the headlight's shine but also ensures greater longevity. Start by sanding the headlight using very fine sandpaper, progressively using finer grits (begin with 1200 grit and then 2000 grit), keeping it wet constantly until the headlight is uniformly cloudy. Dry the headlight and polish it with rubbing compound and a low-speed buffer. Repeat the steps if necessary.

How to Set the Clock on the Opel Zafira
