Replacing the MAF Air Flow Sensor

Model: Mercedes Classe C W202 - Years 1993-2000
Part: Engine

The MAF sensor measures the amount of air flowing into the engine through the air intake. The sensor is located in the air intake tube that extends from the fuel injection system filter. If this sensor is faulty, it must be replaced. You will need a new sensor, a screwdriver, and a socket wrench. The MAF sensor is inside the air filter box; you will need to remove the air box cover and take out the air filter, then loosen the clamps on the intake tube with a screwdriver and pull the intake tube from the air box. To install the new sensor, follow the reverse procedure.
