Replacing the Rear Brake Light Bulb

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

To replace the rear brake light bulb, you do not need to remove the housing. Simply open the trunk, move the carpet covering the housing, remove the bulb holder by disengaging the center lock (it's a plastic wing nut), and replace the bulb (bayonet fitting: press and twist). Once the new bulb is installed, check its operation by pressing the brake pedal. Once you confirm the bulb is lit, reverse the steps to reassemble. Perform the same steps on the other housing to change the other bulb.
