Operation: How to reset the tire pressure sensor on the 2008 Mercedes GL450

This guide will show the steps to perform to reset the tire pressure sensor for the 2008 Mercedes GL450. In order, you must: 1. Check and make sure that the tire pressures correspond to those declared by the manufacturer. In this case, the front tires must have a pressure of 32 PSI, while the rear tires must have a pressure of 38 PSI; 2. Once this is done, turn the key and activate the instrument panel without starting the engine; 3. Using the information buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel, navigate through the menu items shown on the display, until the mileage traveled or completed is shown on the screen; 4. At this point, press one of the two arrow buttons located next to the information buttons, until the "Tyre pressure monitoring active" item appears; 5. Press the "reset" button located above the instrument panel; 6. To confirm sensor reset, press the "+" button on the right side of the steering wheel; 7. Wait 10 seconds or until the on-screen process completes; 8. Restart the instrument cluster to ensure correct operation of the aforementioned sensor.
