This guide outlines the steps to reset the tyre pressure sensor for the 2008 Mercedes GL450. First, check and ensure that the tyre pressures match those specified by the manufacturer. In this case, the front tyres should be at a pressure of 32 PSI, while the rear tyres should be at a pressure of 38 PSI; Next, turn the key and activate the instrument cluster without starting the engine; Using the information buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, navigate through the menu options displayed until the mileage is shown; At this point, press one of the two arrow buttons located next to the information buttons until the message "Tyre Pressure Monitoring Active" appears; Press the "reset" button located above the instrument cluster; To confirm the sensor reset, press the "+" button located on the right side of the steering wheel; Wait for 10 seconds or until the on-screen procedure is completed; Restart the instrument cluster to ensure the sensor is functioning correctly.
