Removing the rear shock absorbers is fairly simple since the shock and spring are not co-axial, as in the case of the front ones, but separate: it is simply a matter of unscrewing the nuts securing the shaft inside the trunk and then the bolts that attach the shock absorber to the rear axle.

Start by removing the sound-absorbing cover located just behind the rear seat backs inside the trunk, then unscrew the nut and counter-nut on the shaft, place a support under the rear axle, unscrew the securing bolts, and extract them using a punch.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
