Mercedes Clk - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Clk W208 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Window motor
Operation: Glass lifting mechanism lubrication instructions

If you notice that something hinders its free sliding during the up and down maneuvers of the glass door, the first attempt to improve the situation is to lubricate the mechanism: to carry out this operation it is obviously necessary to remove the door panel and the underlying plastic coating; then connect the button in order to adjust the mechanism and to be able to access the sliding parts, that is the runners and the rack; once the grease has been applied, let the crystal rise and fall and eventually lubricate again until the sliding is better. It may be useful to lubricate (not with grease but with wax) also the descenders or the seals of the door pillar inside which the window slides.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
