The cup holder support is a useful accessory generally integrated into the console or central tunnel: it is a device with a retractable system, and you simply need to press on it to extract and/or fold it back into its housing. It is a mechanism made entirely of plastic with gears and springs that regulate its movement; if any of these elements wear out or become damaged, the mechanism tends to jam. It may therefore be necessary to disassemble it to free it from any debris: essentially, you need to release a series of tabs.
