Engine Mount Replacement Instructions

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

To replace the engine mount, lift the vehicle on appropriate car stands and then apply a jack directly under the engine (possibly also under the oil sump) to support it during the removal of the mount; access the engine bay and locate the fixing pin of the mount to remove it and extract it from its seat: for this manoeuvre, it may be easier to remove the auxiliary belt for more working space; then insert the new mount, secure it with the relevant pin, and refit the auxiliary belt.
