Replacing the Cooling Hose Connector

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

In case of failure of the "T" junction of the hose connecting the radiator to the thermostat and to which the return pipe to the expansion tank is also connected, it is necessary to replace it, procuring not only the junction but also the metal clips for securing it: the original ones are aluminium and cannot be reused; proceed to remove the damaged joint, completing the breakage with the aid of a pipe wrench, ensuring that no plastic residues remain inside the hoses; then insert the new joint and secure the hoses with the respective clips, finally checking the coolant level in the expansion tank.
