How to Replace the Air Filter on a 1995 Mercedes E-Class

With the help of this video tutorial, you will learn how to replace the air filter on the Mercedes W124, E-Class. First, open the hood and cover it with a protective cloth to avoid scratches on the body. Next, open the air filter housing; to do this, simply remove the retaining clips. Once open, place a rag inside the tube and remove the worn filter. Complete the job by cleaning the filter housing and inserting the new one. Remove the rag from the tube and close the filter housing. Finally, remove the cloth and close the hood.
