To access it, first open the glove compartment in the same location, then pry open the indicated slot, remove the upper panel, and similarly detach the small armrest. Next, unscrew the newly exposed screws with a Torx T25 wrench, remove the upper cover of the tunnel, and continue with the battery disassembly.
