How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes SL?

Model: Mercedes Sl R230 - Years 2001-2011

To reset the Service light on a Mercedes SL, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch. Once the dashboard is powered on, navigate through the menu using the directional arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. When the service message appears with the mileage until the next service, press and hold the button located in the center of the dashboard. This will reset the Service light and restore the maintenance interval.
