Service Light Reset Instructions

Model: Mercedes Classe C - Years 1983-1993

If the SERVICE warning light illuminates on the instrument panel, it means it's time for maintenance. After completing the service with an oil change and replacing the oil filter (check if the air and fuel filters also need replacement), proceed to reset the SERVICE light. This is a manual procedure performed using the steering wheel controls and the trip odometer reset button located at the bottom left of the instrument panel. Turn on the ignition and select the service option, then reset using the trip odometer button.
