To replace the battery in the remote for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, press the button located at the base of the device to extract the key from its housing. Once removed, you can pry inside its housing to detach the plastic cover on the back of the remote, pulling out the battery inside.

This way, you can insert the new replacement part into its housing, closing it with the plastic cover and reinserting the key into its housing.
