Removing the Outside Rearview Mirror

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

Removing the outside rearview mirror is very simple and does not require disassembling the door panel. Just remove the cap located at the front of the panel to disconnect the two connectors related to the mirror (defrost and electric adjustment). Then, fold the mirror inwards to access the mounting plate on the door and unscrew the mounting screws, first at the back and then at the front. Once the screws are removed, you can pull the mirror out of its housing.
