Removal of Front Speaker Protection Grille

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

The front speaker protection grille can often get damaged due to foot traffic during entry and exit from the cabin, and even if it doesn't break, it can get dirty from rubber scuff marks. To remove this grille, simply get a plastic pry tool and detach the grille along the edges, pulling it away from its housing enough to disconnect the rear trunk release button connector. Then, unscrew the screws securing the button to the grille to complete the removal and proceed in reverse for the installation of the new one.
