Where is the AdBlue/SCR Module Located on a Mercedes Sprinter?

The SCR catalyst in diesel engines reduces harmful emissions using the reducing agent AdBlue. SCR stands for Selective Catalyst Reduction, which reduces nitrogen oxides, converting them into nitrogen and water vapour through the injection of the AdBlue additive. The injection occurs upstream of the catalyst, at a rate between 3 and 5% relative to diesel, resulting in a consumption of about 1 to 1.5 litres every 1,000 miles. The AdBlue/SCR module in the Mercedes Sprinter (both right-hand and left-hand drive) is located on the right side of the vehicle. For left-hand drive models, it is a white box labelled SCR/gen3 in the passenger compartment.
