How to Replace the Turn Signal on a Mercedes C-Class Mirror

To replace the integrated turn signal in the housing of the exterior rearview mirror, you need to remove the housing itself. Start by rotating the mirror all the way inward, then fold the mirror completely into the closed position. At this point, locate the spring that holds the housing in place and the corresponding slot where you can insert the tip of a screwdriver to leverage and release the spring. Once the spring is released and the housing is removed from the mirror, gently detach all the plastic tabs around the edge of the inner cover of the turn signal where the LED circuit is located.
