How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes E-Class?

To reset the Service light on a Mercedes E-Class, insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to activate the instrument cluster using the appropriate button. Then, using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, navigate through the menu on the instrument cluster: select "ASSYST PLUS" and then "Service". To reset the light, the last option to select will be "Confirm service": this will allow you to return to the initial screen and then turn off the ignition to complete the procedure.
